Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service General Manager to lead the Truck Service Profit Center across our nationwide network. You will coach a team of technicians, oversee marketing and operations, and drive service excellence and financial performance.

You’ll ensure safety, compliance, and high-quality customer service while managing payroll, inventory, and vendor relations, with a focus on growth and staff development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degrees preferred.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in convenience store, truck service, travel center, or related.
• Strong planning and analytical skills; able to interpret P&L, budget and expense reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead Truck Service department and a team of technicians.
• Coach team in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Oversee marketing, operations and customer service functions.
• Ensure safety standards and comply with state and federal laws.
• Manage payroll, accounting, inventory and personnel documentation.
