Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a friendly crew member to operate our "Truck cashier/scooper" at Brookfield Zoo and Shedd Aquarium events. You will take orders, restock displays, and help ensure an engaging, clean customer experience.

The role starts at $15/hour plus tips, with experience-based adjustments. Must be at least 16 years old and able to stand for long periods while working with the team at pop-up venues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current food handler’s card preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and assist with service.
• Coordinate with team on special orders and allergies.
• Wipe counters and display surfaces between customers.
• Restock ice cream flavors, bowls, cones, napkins and spoons.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.

Pay Range:

Starting at $15/hour + TIPS, based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Order taking
• Communicate with the team for special orders or any allergies
• Wiping down counters
• Restock ice cream flavors in display tubs.
• Restock bowls, cones, behind the counter
• Restock napkins and spoons for customers
• Wipe down surfaces in between customers
• Assist with other tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to effectively communicate, whether written or verbally
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Current food handler’s card preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
