Job summary

A local ice cream shop is seeking energetic cashiers/scoopers to provide a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities include taking orders, restocking supplies, and ensuring excellent customer service. Pay Range:

$15 – 20/hour + TIPS, based on experience and location.

Job Summary:

Rainbow Cone is looking for energetic, hardworking cashiers/scoopers to help provide a fun, welcoming atmosphere that sets us apart from all other ice cream shops. With a great attitude and even greater customer service, we trust the right candidate will make an impact!

As a cashier/scooper, you will be responsible for taking orders, learning our menu and providing excellent customer service. Additional duties and responsibilities:

• Order taking
• Communicate with the team for special orders or any allergies
• Wiping down counters
• Restock ice cream flavors in display tubs.
• Restock bowls, cones, behind the counter
• Restock napkins and spoons for customers
• Wipe down surfaces in between customers
• Assist with other tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate, whether written or verbally
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Current food handler’s card preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Prior cashier experience a plus
• Flexibility of hours
• Customer service skills
