Dynamic Solutions in Clifton, NJ is seeking motivated Rental Desk Agents and Truck Drivers for a dynamic, dual-role position at our busy truck rental counter. You will greet customers, process reservations, and handle rental contracts while also driving vehicles for pickups and deliveries as needed.

The role offers growth to management for the right candidate and emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and flexible weekend hours as the office operates seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

• Basic computer proficiency for processing rentals.
• Experience with Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Gmail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the rental counter with reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
• Process rental agreements, payments, and vehicle inspections accurately.
• Enter new customer reservations and rental contracts on the corporate website.
• Complete rental contracts upon vehicle return.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure fleet readiness.
• Explain rental terms, vehicle features, and policies to customers.
• Collect payments for unpaid rentals using a computer.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance with the Corporate office.
• Manage vehicle returns and replacements for required maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized counter and rental lot.
• Drive for pickup and delivery of rental trucks as needed.
• Flexible weekend availability.

About the Role:

Clifton, NJ Truck rental agency open 7 days per week is seeking motivated and customer-friendly Rental Desk Agents and Truck Driver to join our team! You will drive to deliver and pick up vans and trucks of various sizes up to 26 ft box trucks and enter rental information to initiate and complete rental contracts. Growth to management position for the right individual. This dual-role position offers variety in your workday — from helping customers at the counter to getting behind the wheel. Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers at the rental counter with reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
• Process rental agreements, payments, and vehicle inspections accurately
• Entry of new customer reservations
• Entry of new rental contracts on Corporate website
• Completion of rental contracts on Corporate website upon return of vehicle
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure fleet readiness - Inspect vehicle before rental and upon return
• Explain rental terms, vehicle features, and policies to customers
• Collect on unpaid rentals using a computer with business application
• Manage vehicle maintenance/repair work with Corporate office
• Coordinate customer vehicle returns and replacements for required maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized counter and rental lot area
• Drive for pickup and delivery of rental trucks to designated locations as needed

Requirements:

• Bilingual English/Spanish a must!!
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency for processing rentals and transactions
• Experience with Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Experience with Gmail
• Ability to communicate thoughts clearly both verbally and in writing
• Able to follow directions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends - office is open 7 days a week with hours ranging from 7:30am - 9:00pm weekdays and 7:30am - 2:00pm weekends. Office hours are dependent upon time of year, industry fluctuations and customer requirements.

• Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review

• Previous experience in truck rental, transportation, or customer service preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
• Ability to operate large trucks and commercial vehicles safely - Fleet ranges from vans to 26 ft box trucks

Pay is based on experience
