Your Role:

As a Truck Operator 1 with MilliporeSigma, you will operate box trucks, tractor trailers, and forklifts to move chemicals and components between the St. Louis MilliporeSigma facilities and 3PL warehouses. This is a Monday-Friday day shift position focused on local deliveries and pickups. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. Specific responsibilities include:

• Ensure the safe movement of hazardous materials
• Provide support to outside customers
• Perform various warehouse functions at different sites as needed

Physical Attributes:

• Lifting up to 50 lbs

Who You Are:

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Class A CDL license
• At least 1 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle
• At least 1 year of forklift operation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hazmat, EAP, and drug and alcohol certification
• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and airbrake restriction lifted
• Experience with SAP or similar warehouse management systems
• Knowledge of warehousing and inventory processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
