Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use tools required.
• Ability to analyze situations, identify problems and implement solutions.
• Ability to meet production standards set by the company.
• Familiarity/experience in a transportation mechanical environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle basic preventative maintenance with supervision.
• Conduct equipment washing.
• Complete vehicle refueling.
• Perform basic service line function (e.g. check tire air pressure, change lights).
• Training is primarily conducted on-site and on-the-job.
• Strive to find more efficient ways to do the job and seek to reduce costs and improve labor productivity.
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting their work group or distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with ADUSA Transportation standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity.
