• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting their work group or distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with ADUSA Transportation standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity.

Primary Purpose

Responsible for performing basic tasks within the transportation truck shop which can include cleaning, refueling, and basic maintenance.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Handle basic preventative maintenance with supervision
• Conduct equipment washing
• Complete vehicle refueling
• Perform basic service line function (ex. Check tire air pressure, change lights).
• Training is primarily conducted on-site and on-the-job. Formal training opportunities may be available dependent on shop structure, size and department needs.
• Strive to find more efficient ways to do the job and seek to reduce costs and improve labor productivity.
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting their work group or distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with ADUSA Transportation standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity.
