Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform Truck Mechanic B requirements in addition to major preventive maintenance, major component rebuilds, and reading shop materials.
• Repair and maintenance on refrigeration equipment as needed.
• Repair major structural damage to trailer, refrigeration system, and engine-internal repair.
• Perform welding functions as needed.
• Carry out basic service line tasks (e.g., tire pressure checks, lighting).
• Perform minor tune-ups and solve electrical, brake, and compressor issues in refrigeration systems.
• Repair tractors (excluding rebuilds), warehouse equipment, external engines, and other components.
• Suggest improvements to procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, accuracy, and productivity standards.
