Socket.dev in Scottsbluff, NE is hiring a Lube Tech. Your primary duties include fluid checks and basic maintenance to keep America’s trucks on the road, with a day shift and hourly pay.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license with clean MVR, experience diagnosing and repairing passenger automobiles, and owning a complete set of hand tools. You will document service and coordinate with parts, while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with MVR in good standing.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing passenger automobiles.
• Own a complete set of hand tools and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers.
• Change vehicle oil.
• Check transmission fluid and other fluid levels.
• Inspect belts, filters, air levels, and gauges.
• Rotate tires.
• Write service reports and receipts for work completed.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions.
• Cross-collaborate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
• Road test vehicles as needed for quality assessment.
• Maintain neat and orderly work area and comply with safety regulations.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver's License and clean MVR

Experience diagnosing and repairing passenger automobiles
