Job summary

The Salvation Army in Mobile, AL is seeking a part-time Store Associate to assist with donation pickups, item inspection, and donor relations. You will load and secure donations, prepare receipts, and help maintain a positive image of the organization.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid state driver’s license, and at least six months of experience lifting heavy items. Schedule is Tue-Sat, about 24 hours weekly, with benefits.

This position is responsible for:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Work requires riding in vehicle daily with exposure to outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat, or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.


• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving lifting and carrying heavy objects
