Vanguard Truck Centers is seeking a Body Shop Technician for our Houston, TX location. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing structural damage to frames, chassis, and related components in our heavy‑duty truck service facility.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of body shop experience, prefers heavy‑duty truck work, and may hold a CDL. Safety footwear is required on day one, and the team values integrity, teamwork, and excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Body Shop experience preferred.
• Heavy Duty truck experience preferred.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to meet insurance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Body Shop Technicians will perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify and determine parts required for body shop repair of disassembled units.
• Perform all levels of Collision Repair services in the body shop.
• Touch-up painting on vehicle when assigned to do so.
• Removal & installation of decals on unit.
• Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended by the body shop technician.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Body shop technician will test vehicles on the road when required
• Keeps shop area neat and clean.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner for your safety and other body shop technicians
