Vanguard Truck Centers in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Body Shop Technician to perform collision repair work and parts identification for disassembled units. The role requires evaluating safety or service needs and documenting repairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of body shop experience preferred.
• Heavy duty truck experience preferred.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Safety shoes are required on day one of employment.

Responsibilities

• Body Shop Technicians will perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Identify and determine parts required for body shop repair of disassembled units
• Perform all levels of Collision Repair services in the body shop
• Touch-up painting on vehicle when assigned to do so
• Removal & installation of decals on unit
• Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended by the body shop technician
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Body shop technician will test vehicles on the road when required
• Keeps shop area neat and clean
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner for your safety and other body shop technicians
