Vanguard Truck Centers in Phoenix, AZ seeks a skilled Body Shop Technician to perform repairs and ensure quality workmanship on heavy-duty trucks, following repair orders with accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Body Shop experience preferred.
• Heavy duty truck experience preferred.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to meet insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Body Shop Technicians will perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Identify and determine parts required for body shoprepair of disassembled units
• Perform all levels of Collision Repair services in the body shop
• Touch-up painting on vehicle when assigned to do so
• Removal & installation of decals on unit.
• Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended by the body shop technician.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Body shop technician will test vehicles on the road when required
• Keeps shop area neat and clean.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner for your safety and other body shop technicians

Safety shoes are required on day one of employment. Employees must wear approved safety footwear at all times while working in designated shop and service areas
