Job summary

MONROE TRUCK EQUIPMENT, located in Marshfield, WI, is seeking a versatile technician to inspect, repair, service, and build light and heavy-duty trucks. The role requires reading prints and applying mechanical aptitude to create solutions while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge.
• Ability to use crane and hoists.
• Ability to use power tools and machinery.
• Auto mechanical experience preferred; welding, hydraulics and electrical knowledge valued.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble truck components to customer specifications.
• Install and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication to build, modify and follow specs.
• Maintain shop equipment for safe operation.
• Complete repairs and replace malfunctioning parts to restore operation.
