MONROE TRUCK EQUIPMENT, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Marshfield, WI, is seeking a Truck Equipment Mechanic to inspect, repair, and build light and heavy trucks. You will read prints and use mechanical skills to create solutions, while delivering an excellent customer experience.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, basic math, and the ability to read/write. Crane/hoist operation, power tools, and general machinery experience are essential; welding/hydraulic/electrical experience

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required or equivalent.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Ability to operate cranes/hoists safely.
• Experience with power tools and general machinery.
• Welding, hydraulic and electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble truck components to customer specifications.
• Install and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication to modify or build parts.
• Maintain shop equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Repair and replace malfunctioning parts to restore truck functionality.
