Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Marshfield, WI, is seeking a Truck Equipment Mechanic to inspect, repair, service, and assemble light and heavy-duty trucks.

The role requires reading prints, following instructions, and applying mechanical aptitude to develop solutions and ensure an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma or Experience required.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge.
• Experience operating cranes and hoists preferred.
• Proficiency with power tools and machinery is required.
• Automotive mechanical experience preferred.
• Welding, hydraulic, electrical and quality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble truck components to customer specifications.
• Install and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication to build, modify, and meet specifications.
• Maintain shop equipment for safe operation.
• Complete repairs and replace malfunctioning parts to return trucks to service.

Truck Equipment Mechanic

Position

Perform any and all tasks related to inspecting, repairing, servicing, and building various types of light duty and/or heavy duty trucks. This requires the ability to work from prints and instructions as well as use mechanical aptitude to create solutions. This position is also responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble various truck components to specification per customer requirements.
• Install and/or maintain all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on assigned projects and builds.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks in order to build, modify, and follow specifications.
• Maintain shop equipment for safe use in operation.
• Complete repairs and replace malfunctioning parts to return working operation of truck components.
