Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Marshfield, WI, seeks a skilled truck technician to inspect, repair, service, and build light and heavy duty trucks. You will read prints and follow instructions, applying mechanical know-how to deliver reliable solutions and a great customer experience.

Responsibilities include building components, wiring and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, welding and fabrication, maintaining shop gear, and replacing worn parts to restore operation.

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge.
• Ability to use crane and hoists; operate power tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble truck components to specification per customer requirements.
• Install and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on projects/builds.
• Perform welding and fabrication to build, modify, and follow specifications.
• Maintain shop equipment for safe operation.
• Complete repairs and replace malfunctioning parts to return trucks to operation.
