Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment in Marshfield, WI is seeking a Truck Equipment Mechanic to inspect, repair, and assemble light to heavy duty trucks. You will read prints, use mechanical aptitude, and ensure an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities include building components to spec, wiring and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, welding, and equipment maintenance. Prior welding, hydraulic, or electrical experience is a plus; EOE.

Qualifications

  • GED/High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend and perform basic math.
  • Ability to use crane and hoists.
  • Ability to use power tools and machinery.
  • Auto mechanical experience preferred.
  • Welding, hydraulic, electrical and quality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble truck components to specification per customer requirements.
  • Install and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on projects/builds.
  • Perform welding and fabrication to build, modify, and follow specifications.
  • Maintain shop equipment for safe use in operation.
  • Complete repairs and replace malfunctioning parts to return trucks to working condition.

Truck Equipment Mechanic

Position

Perform any and all tasks related to inspecting, repairing, servicing, and building various types of light duty and/or heavy duty trucks. This requires the ability to work from prints and instructions as well as use mechanical aptitude to create solutions. This position is also responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience.
