Job summary

MONROE TRUCK EQUIPMENT in Marshfield, WI, part of the Aebi Schmidt Group, seeks a hands-on technician to inspect, repair, service, and build light and heavy trucks following prints and instructions.

You will install and maintain systems, perform welding and fabrication to specification, and keep shop equipment in safe working order while delivering reliable solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma or Experience.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge.
• Ability to use Crane and hoists.
• Ability to use power tools and machinery.
• Auto Mechanical Experience (Preferred).
• Welding, Hydraulic and Electrical Experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble various truck components to specification per customer requirements.
• Install and/or maintain all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on assigned projects and builds.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks in order to build, modify, and follow specifications.
• Maintain shop equipment for safe use in operation.
• Complete repairs and replace malfunctioning parts to return working operation of truck components.

Position
