Job summary

MONROE TRUCK EQUIPMENT, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Marshfield, WI, is seeking a Truck Equipment Mechanic to inspect, repair, service, and build light and heavy duty trucks. You will work from drawings, use mechanical aptitude, and strive to deliver an excellent customer experience.

The role requires ability to read, write, and perform basic math; experience with cranes/hoists, power tools, welding, hydraulics, and electrical systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma or Experience required.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge.
• Ability to use Crane and hoists.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble various truck components to specification per customer requirements.
• Install and/or maintain all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on assigned projects and builds.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks in order to build, modify, and follow specifications.
• Maintain shop equipment for safe use in operation.
• Complete repairs and replace malfunctioning parts to return working operation of truck components.

Position
