Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand in De Pere, WI, is seeking a Truck Equipment Installer for 1st shift. This full-time role involves inspecting, repairing, servicing, and building various truck components to meet customer specifications.

This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and an option for 4/10s. You will read prints, apply mechanical aptitude, and use cranes, hoists, power tools, and machinery to install electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma or Experience.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble truck components to specification per customer requirements.
• Install and/or maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on trucks.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks to build, modify, and follow specifications.
• Maintain shop equipment for safe use in operation.
• Complete repairs and replace malfunctioning parts to return truck components to operation.

Truck Equipment Installer - 1st SHIFT ** FULL TIME ** M-F ** NO WEEKENDS ** OPTION FOR 4/10's **

Position

Perform any and all tasks related to inspecting, repairing, servicing, and building various types of light duty and/or heavy duty trucks. This requires the ability to work from prints and instructions as well as use mechanical aptitude to create solutions. This position is also responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble various truck components to specification per customer requirements.
• Install and/or maintain all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on assigned projects and builds.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks in order to build, modify, and follow specifications.
• Maintain shop equipment for safe use in operation.
• Complete repairs and replace malfunctioning parts to return working operation of truck components.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma or Experience.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge.
• Ability to use Crane and hoists.
• Ability to use power tools and machinery.
• Auto Mechanical Experience (Preferred).
• Welding, Hydraulic and Electrical Experience (Preferred).
