Job summary

The Salvation Army in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Store Driver/General Worker to operate a Salvation Army truck on scheduled routes, pick up donations, and deliver merchandise to customers.

You will assist in thrift-store and warehouse tasks, sort and price donations, ensure safety and cleanliness, and help maintain orderly displays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• One year experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive Salvation Army truck along scheduled route to pick up donations and/or deliver merchandise to customers.
• Operate the truck in compliance with Salvation Army standards and state driving regulations.
• Lift, carry, load and unload donations including furniture, appliances, clothing, etc.

QualificationsEducation and Experience

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred but not required,

one year experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van,
