ATI is currently seeking a Truck Driver – Shipping/Receiving operator for our Bakers facility in Monroe, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for driving company trucks to deliver and pick up parts from customers and between ATI facilities. You will also receive materials for distribution, prepare materials and parts for outside processing, and handle warehouse organization and inventory. Additional duties include preparing parts and paperwork for shipping, cleaning, and marking as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles for pickups and deliveries of materials, parts, supplies, and other items, including cars, vans, pickup trucks, and heavy-duty trucks (1 ton, 2 ½ ton).
• Secure loads, obey traffic laws, and handle required paperwork properly.
• Mark, pack, and ship high-temperature alloys following established procedures.
• Wrap, strap, protect, and prepare ingots for shipment.
• Apply color coding and identification to materials.
• Label containers and prepare orders for shipment.
• Complete truck bills of lading and sign off on mill order travelers for ingots shipped to Monroe/TSAF.
• Unload incoming delivery trucks.
• Weigh incoming materials and store them appropriately.
• Report damaged or defective items and unusual conditions.
• Maintain records, prepare requisitions, and assist in training new employees.
• Follow safety regulations and keep work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of quality systems, deviation reporting, hazards of contamination in titanium, identification procedures, and cleaning procedures for equipment and processes.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of 12 months of related experience.
