Logistics, Supply Chain, Shipping and Receiving. Warehouse associates ensure that our product reaches its destination in a safe and timely manner. Our Shipping & Receiving Department plays a critical role in our Food Safety and Food Defense program, as they are ensuring only Safe Quality Food is being received and shipped.
Shifts & Locations
AK Pizza Crust ships from three plants in Green Bay. These positions are full time with some weekends required. Immediate openings will vary by shift and location based on current staffing needs at one of these work sites:
- Ensure all daily transfers are scheduled and delivered accurately and safely each day to the correct facility.
- Load trucks with products and materials per company BOL and pick sheets in accordance with company policy.
- Process each load in company ERP System.
- Scan all barcodes, match quantities and lot codes on truck with BOL and conduct a quality audit for each truck load.
- Take pictures and temperatures of every truck loaded and make sure truck is sealed.
- Unload trucks as needed and ensure that all necessary paperwork is filled out properly and processed as required.
- Follow dock procedures and policies as posted.
- Check trailers for cleanliness and correct temperature prior to loading the trailer.
- Apply date tags to each ingredient pallet after unloading.
- Help keep the Cooler and freezer organized and ready for next truck loads.
- Ensure that any materials that are torn or damaged are disposed of and disposition paperwork completed.
- Maintain stock rotation following FIFO.
- Help with other shipping and receiving needs.
- Transfer materials that other plants need to them in a timely manner.
- Must have CDL.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must have the flexibility to work weekends.
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced, busy shipping department.
- Must be drug-free and able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests administered at any time.
- Ability to tolerate hot and cold temperatures.
- Other physical requirements include:
- Walking, standing, and sitting up to 8 hours per day.
- Repetitive hand and wrist motion.
- Frequent bending and twisting.
- Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional lifting of up to 80 pounds.
- Some overhead reaching, lifting, stacking.
- Ability to stand up while using standing forklift.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Dress code: Food Safety GMP's are followed in all plant areas. Hairnets, beard nets, and uniforms are worn. No watches, no jewelry, no piercings, no false fingernails or nail polish are permitted. No dresses, skirts, shorts, capris, or pants with holes are permitted. New slip-resistant footwear is required. The company provides a voucher for the purchase of safety shoes.
- Language skills: Requires the ability to understand and follow instructions and to communicate effectively one-on-one and in small groups.
- Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential in keeping with our culture of cooperation and respect.
- Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills required.
+ $150 bonus after 40 hours
+ $150 bonus after 160 hours
