Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking Class A CDL truck drivers to join our team in the Maryland/Rockville area. This role offers home weekly with reliable miles and a steady flow of regional routes across SC, NC, AL, KY, GA, VA, OH, TN, WV and nearby states.

Expect 3 loads per week with 3 stops on average and a DOT-compliant driving schedule. You must have at least 3 months OTR or regional experience, a clean MVR, and be able to pass a DOT drug screen.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).
• Moving violations: No more than 3 in last 3 years.
• No careless/negligent driving violations in past 3 years.
• No reckless driving violations in past 5 years.

• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Pay:

$1690 to $2100 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family, Days Off: Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs...(Operating Area: SC, NC, AL, KY, GA, VA, OH, TN, VA and WV). Load: 3 loads per week and 3 stops average.

Duties:

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).
• Moving Violation: No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.
• Terminations: Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.
• Felonies and Misdemeanors: Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.
• DUI/DWI: No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
