GEX Transport in Phoenix, AZ is hiring CDL Class A drivers for weekly home time and steady freight. Expect 5 days out with 2 days home, serving AZ and Southern California lanes including LA and San Diego. Complete pre/post inspections, keep logs, and deliver freight on time.

Applicants must hold a valid CDL Class A, have a clean driving record, and pass a DOT drug screen. Experience: 3 months preferred, with over‑the‑road or regional work welcomed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license is required.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (urine and hair follicle).
• Experience: 3 months suggested; Over the Road or Regional experience welcomed.

Compensation

$1350 to $1600 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family.(Operating Area: Lanes include all of AZ, and Southern California to include LA and San Diego.).

Duties

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Rollover.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
