Job summary

GEX Transport in Wichita, KS is seeking experienced CDL A drivers. Enjoy weekly home time with 5 out and 2 home days and an operating area that covers KS, MN, SD, ND, IA, NE, MO, AR, OK, TN and KY.

You will handle 2–3 loads per week with 4–5 stops per load (100% touch freight). Driver unloads using roller conveyors. Requirements: valid CDL A, clean MVR and background checks, and ability to pass a DOT drug screen.

Experience Drivers

Must have a minimum of 3 months O.T.R or Regional experience.

Account

$1600 to $2100 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family, (Operating Area: MN, SD, ND, IA, NE, KS, MO, AR, OK, TN and KY).

Load

2 to 3 loads per week and 4 to 5 stops per load. (100% touch freight).

Duties

Moving Violation

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Terminations

Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
