Job summary

GEX Transport in West Memphis, AR is seeking experienced over-the-road drivers. You’ll be out about 5 days and home 2 days each week, delivering to TX, OK, TN, AR, LA, MS, MO, KY, IL and AL from the West Memphis hub. Expect 3 loads per week with 3 stops per load and 100% touch freight.

Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, on-time freight delivery, accurate trip logs, and clear communication with dispatch and driver managers to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months OTR or Regional experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Position

GEX Transport, home time weekly driving jobs, driver unloads freight using roller conveyors.

Experience Drivers: Must have a minimum of 3 months O.T.R or Regional experience, no exceptions.

Account: $1380 to $1700 per week.

Home Weekly: 5 out and 2 days home with your family, (Operating Area: West Memphis AR delivering to TX, OK, TN, AR, LA, MS, MO, KY, IL, and AL).

Load: 3 loads per week and 3 stops average. (100% touch freight).

Duties: Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 5 years.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Terminations

• Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
