Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking experienced truck drivers. Home time is weekly, with 5 out and 2 at home, serving MN, SD, ND, IA, NE, KS, MO, AR, OK, TN and KY. Expect 2–3 loads per week and 4–5 stops per load; all freight is 100% touch freight.

Requirements include a valid CDL-A, clean MVR, ability to pass a DOT drug screen, and at least 3 months of OTR or regional experience. Complete pre/post trip inspections, maintain logs, and stay in close contact with dispatch.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
• No major incidents in CMV in past 5 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Experience Drivers

Account

$1600 to $2100 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family, (Operating Area: MN, SD, ND, IA, NE, KS, MO, AR, OK, TN and KY).

Load

2 to 3 loads per week and 4 to 5 stops per load. (100% touch freight).

Duties

Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time. Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation

No more 3 in the last 3 years. No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years. No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident

No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 5 years. Personal vehicle or company vehicle count. No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Terminations

Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed. Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever. No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime. No DUI's within the past 5 years.
