Job summary

GEX Transport seeks Experienced Drivers for OTR/Regional work in central and southern Florida. Earn $1,400–$1,600 per week and go home weekly, with 5 days out and 2 days at home to be with family.

Typical routes cover central/southern FL (Miami area, Tampa, Orlando, Fort Myers, FL Keys) with 3–4 turns per week and 3–5 stops per load. Requirements include a valid CDL Class A, clean MVR and background checks, and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen.

Experience Drivers:

Pay:

$1400 to $1600 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family. (Operating Area: central and southern FL: surrounding area of Miami, Fort Meyers, FL Keys, Tampa, Orlando . All dry freight. 3-4 turns per week with an average of three to five stops per load.).

Duties:

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation:

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Terminations:

Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors:

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI:

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
