CHS Devils Lake in Lakota, ND is hiring for an Operations Specialist/Truck Driver in a hybrid role. You will alternate between performing hands-on loading/unloading duties and coordinating operations to support farmers and co-ops.

This full-time position requires a CDL and English communication skills, with seasonal variation. CHS offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities to grow within a large co-op network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment.
• Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.Deliver products safely and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance.
• Report safety or customer issues promptly.
• Maintain strong safety culture.
• Perform other assigned duties

CHS Devils Lake is hiring for an Operations Specialist/Truck Driver in Lakota, ND. This role is a hybrid position where you will be driver and an operations specialist depending on the season and business needs. Great opportunity with a variety of work in your day to day! Operations Specialist/Truck Driver

As an Operations Specialist you will; Load and unload grain and fertilizer products. Work with your hands by performing scheduled maintenance and repairs. Acquire knowledge on how to monitor and maintain grain qualify, mix/load fertilizer/chemical products and potentially assist in loading trains.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations
• Must meet minimum age requirement
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Additional Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends
• Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred
• Valid Class A CDL preferred
• Agriculture background preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins, and into back of trailer
• Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
