Job summary

Dot Foods Inc. is seeking professional Class A CDL drivers to transport products to customers and distribution centers. You will work full-time with traditional routes, typically dispatched 2–5 days per trip, and home about 2 days weekly.

Must live within 50 miles of Ocala, FL with starting pay up to $85K based on experience and job type. You will handle loading/unloading for most jobs, meet safety and regulatory standards, and stay updated on paperwork and product descriptions.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with good MVR or ability to obtain; tuition assistance offered.
• Hazardous materials and tanker endorsements (can be obtained during training).
• Medical examiner certificate and ability to pass PAT.
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English.
• Six months of over-the-road experience or completion of an approved truck driver program.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate DTI equipment to transport product.
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations and other governing bodies.
• For all jobs except no-touch freight, load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods.
• Meet company goals for MPG, fuel purchases, idle time, and speed.
• Read and understand load paperwork and product descriptions.
• Identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

Location: 655 SW 52nd Avenue, Ocala, FL – Must live within a 50-mile radius.

Pay: Starting pay up to $85K depending on experience and job type (See pay options).

Schedule Available: Traditional (typically dispatched 2-5 days per trip, and home on average 2 days per week), full-time.

Job Type(s) Available: Customer delivery specialist & No Touch Freight.

Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older.

Environment: Work in all weather conditions and on weekdays, weekends, days, and nights.

What You'll Do

• Read and understand DTI load paperwork and product and packaging descriptions.
• Identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

Role Specifics

• Regular physical activity required for all jobs except no-touch freight; must be able to safely lift on average 14 pounds, up to 60 pounds.
• Includes sitting, walking, or standing during work hours.

Job Requirements

You Must Have

• Class A CDL and a good motor vehicle report or ability to obtain a Class A CDL. DTI helps cover driving school tuition for new drivers.
• Haz‑Mat and tanker endorsements (can be obtained during training).
• Medical examiner certificate from a company‑approved examiner.
• Ability to pass our physical ability test (PAT).
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language.
• Safety‑first mindset.

You May Also Have

• Six months of over‑the‑road experience or graduate of an approved truck driver training school.
• High school diploma or GED.
