Ryder is hiring a NON-CDL Truck Driver in Bethel Park, PA for a local, home-daily route. You will drive a box truck within a ~80 mile radius, often 40+ hours weekly, with paid training and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience with the appropriate equipment (box truck)
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle and complying with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in loading/unloading freight if required by the customer.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform loading/unloading as needed and complete other tasks as assigned

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.35 per Mile
• Solo Stops Pay:$12.00 per Stop
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday - Friday NO WEEKENDS
• Start Time: 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM

• Deliver SOLOTo:80 mile radius of Carnegie PA
• Route: Local Home Daily
• Truck Type: Box Truck- 16', 22' & 26'
• Equipment: Pallet Jack, Lift Gate & Hand Truck
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: Touch - Auto Parts

Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age

  • 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned
