Ryder in Bethel Park, PA is hiring a NON-CDL Truck Driver for a local home daily route. Eligible employees receive weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and paid training.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with start times around 6:00–7:00 AM, no weekend work. Responsibilities include safe operation of a box truck within a 80 mile radius of Carnegie, PA, loading/unloading as needed, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment (box truck).
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle and complying with safety regulations.
• Additional Responsibilities include: ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate records; loading/unloading freight if required by customer.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.35 per Mile
• Solo Stops Pay:$20.00 per Stop

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience (*must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck):
• 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
