Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Arlington, TX is hiring a NON-CDL Truck Driver to drive regional routes on a Monday–Friday schedule, with no weekend work. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and paid training.

You will operate 26' box trucks with lift gates and operate in a safety‑mocused environment, earning per‑mile and per‑stop bonuses, plus a nightly per diem. This position emphasizes safety, training, and a strong support network across Ryder locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Must have verifiable driving experience (must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck):
• 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.43 per Mile with 2350 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$13.50 per Stop with 31 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night with 3 nights per Week
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday NO WEEKENDS
• Start Time: 6:00 AM
