In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, receiving, and transporting furniture, artwork, and other merchandise to residential and commercial locations, airports, seaports, or rail ports. Constant understanding that you are the face of the company and remaining keenly aware that customer service is a top priority is required!

Essential Functions:

1. Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport and deliver cargo, materials, furniture, or artwork.
2. Maintains radio or telephone contact with base supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
3. Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
4. Obeys all traffic regulations from City, State, and Federal Laws.
5. Keeps record of materials and products transported.
6. Position blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo for transport.
7. Cleans, inspects, and services vehicle.
8. Operates equipment on vehicle to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
9. Obtains customer signature or collects payment for goods delivered and delivery charges if needed.
10. Assists in loading and unloading truck manually.
11. Other duties assigned by management.
12. All candidates must be enthusiastic and hardworking with a clean cut, well-groomed appearance, and punctual.
13. You have at least 2 years of previous commercial truck driving experience.
14. You know our city's commercial trucking routes.
15. You have at least 2 years of fine furniture handling and moving experience.
16. You're flexible to work weekends as needed.
