Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. in Utah seeks a dependable Materials Handler/Driver to transport and handle materials using medium and light trucks and a forklift, supporting daily depot operations.

You will verify documents, secure loads, and assist with loading/unloading while ensuring safety and accuracy of shipments. Applicants must hold a valid driver's license, maintain a good driving record, and be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in material handling, distribution, or related transportation.
• Ability to operate DSS and automated distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks up to 14,000 pounds to destinations for pickup/delivery.
• Monitor vehicle and report maintenance needs.
• Secure loads for safe transport.
• Communicate with Dispatcher via radio/cell.
• Assist in loading/unloading.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on trucks.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher/Unit Lead/Supervisor.
• Operate vehicles on and off government installations under varying traffic.
• Receive daily work assignments and perform related duties.
