Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Transportation/Material Handler at Hill AFB to move materials using medium and light trucks and forklifts. You will verify documents, route materials, and ensure accurate labeling and storage. The role may require day, swing, or rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, routine maintenance of vehicles, and strict adherence to MIL-STD and DLA directives. Candidates must be U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with a HS diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• At least 18 months in material handling or related fields.
• Experience using DSS and automated distribution systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Hazmat transport experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks up to 14,000 pounds to destinations.
• Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance needs.
• Secure loads for safe transport and delivery.
• Communicate with Dispatcher and supervisor daily.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials.
• Perform daily truck preventive maintenance and adjustments.
• Operate on/off government installations and in varied traffic.
• Receive daily work assignments from Dispatcher.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
