Lynden Door Trucking, LLC is hiring full-time CDL OTR drivers based out of Sumner, WA. Drivers haul doors from Sumner to multiple regions and return freight to the Northwest in 53ft dry vans. 99% no-touch loads with newer equipment and strong driver support.

Pay ranges from $74,000 to $92,000 annually, based on 50–55 hours/week, with quarterly and annual bonuses, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k). Paid loading/unloading and overtime are provided.

Job description

ROLE:

Lynden Door Trucking, LLC is a growing, family-owned transportation and logistics company, looking for full-time, CDL OTR drivers based out of Sumner (Greater Tacoma) WA. We haul our doors from Sumner south to Oregon and California, West to the Midwest, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, Ohio, and beyond at times, and bring all types of freight back to Northwest in 53ft dry vans.

Tractors and Trailers based out of Alliance Door Products, Sumner, part of the Lynden Door Family of Companies.

1. Our OTR loads are 99% no-touch! Equipment consists of newer Peterbilt, Freightliner, and Mack Tractors.
2. Our Drivers appreciate Supervisors that care for them, support them immediately with issues that come up on the road, and work with them on scheduling needs.
3. Hourly pay structure takes the pressure off of sitting in traffic or road construction delays, and ensures you can always drive at safe speeds, take needed breaks, and be focused on getting there the way you left, not getting there more quickly than is comfortable.
4. Quarterly $400 bonuses for Performance (Safety, Idle Time, Logbook, Incident-free) and annual $400 Gold Star Bonus (based on quarterly bonuses).
5. Experienced drivers started at up to 15% higher base wages than new drivers,

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:

• OTR lanes run to MN, WI, and beyond, then returning from OH, MO, to be delivered in the Pacific Northwest.
• These lanes require driver to be gone 11-15 days including 34 hour reset and home 2-3 days every other week. Longer road time is available to drivers that would like to be gone longer.

• COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Competitive hourly wages - $74,000 - $92,000 annually - based on 50-55 hours/week, and up to 15% higher wages for experienced drivers.
  • Steady work throughout the year
  • Drivers are paid while loading and unloading, and when in traffic.
  • Overtime is paid for all hours worked in a week over 40
  • Quarterly Performance Bonus; Up to $400.00, Eligible on the first full quarter, following the 90 day probation period.
  • Gold Star Bonus; annual bonus of $400.00, Eligible after one full year of employment.

  CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Class A drivers must be able to provide a good driving record.
  • Physically fit enough to chain up, tailgate some product, and assist in sorting doors being dropped at each location (rarely needed.)
  • OTR and mountain driving experience is a plus.
  • Job offers are based on passing a DOT drug and alcohol test as required by law.
  • Must have good customer service skills and the ability to represent our Company well to the public.
