Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Portland, ME. You will run local deliveries in the Portland area, with a local home-daily route and a 26' straight truck equipped with lift gate, pallet jack and hand truck. Training is provided and schedules run Monday–Friday starting at 6:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Class B CDL is required.
• Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• Pass Ryder drug test and background/vehicle checks.
• DOT physical and road test must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver solo to local Portland area with a 26' straight truck.
• Local home daily route with 40+ hours per week.
• Operate safe, well-maintained equipment and follow safety procedures.
