Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is hiring immediate full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Minneapolis. Earn $35.64 per hour with overtime after 40 hours and average around $78,000 annually. Home daily on a Sunday-to-Thursday schedule with dispatch between 9:00 PM and 2:00 AM.

Late-model Penske trucks and a comprehensive benefits package are provided. Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, U.S. residency, DOT medical card, and 1–2 years of tractor-trailer experience with a clean DMV/MVR record.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.

Responsibilities

• Operate late-model Penske trucks (48', 53' trailers, straight trucks and day cabs) with automatic transmissions.
• Deliver medical products to customers; ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain safety with in-cab cameras and follow dispatch schedule.
• Home daily with a Sunday night through Thursday night workweek; dispatch times may vary by account needs.

Best-in-class specs designed for comfort

48' trailers, 53' trailers, straight trucks, automatic transmissions, and day cabs

Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all

Schedule:

Sunday night through Thursday night workweek

Dispatch between 9:00 PM and 2:00 AM

Consistent dispatch times each week, with schedules varying based on account coverage needs

Average 40 to 45 hours per week

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
