Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and meet the DMV requirements.
• Minimum age 21 with a clean DMV record for the past 3 years.
• Experience with manual transmission preferred.
• Ability to meet DOT medical, drug and alcohol qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor trailer to pre-load dry bulk tankers.
• Follow a predetermined schedule and maintain short haul logs.
• Back and maneuver vehicle safely.
• Operate dump valves and open/close valves as needed.
• Complete required documentation and perform basic inspections.
• Inspect equipment including lights, brakes, fuel and coolant.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate a tractor trailer to pre-load dry bulk tankers
• Follow a predetermined schedule; maintain short haul (exempt) logs. No ELD required!
• Ability to maneuver and back truck in a safe manner
• Ability to operate dump valves
• Ability to complete required documentation
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies as required, including lights, brakes, fuel, oil and coolant, raising hood, climb to clean windshield and mirrors
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein

Physical Requirements:

• Meet Department of Transportation medical, drug and alcohol qualifications
• Operation of vehicle up to 10 hours per day depending on schedule, 40-60 hours per week, less than 12 hours daily
• Cranking dolly legs on trailers when hooking up and dropping
• Open and close valves to handle material
• Climb 3 feet with steps to hook airlines
• May be required to work in adverse weather

Requirements:

• Class A CDL
• 21 years old-minimum
• DMV records 3 years back

Experience:
