Job summary

Case Farms, Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL-A tractor-trailer driver to join our team in the Goldsboro, NC area. You will drive actively, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure the safe loading and transport of poultry products in compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, following safety policies, and performing routine truck washes. The role requires 21+ years of age, a valid CDL-A, and the ability to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with 1-year verifiable driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT, state and federal laws.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Sound work ethic and character.
• Previous live poultry tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Wear assigned PPE.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations.

• Assist with loading and unloading trailer as necessary.
• Ensure secure load before movement.
• Maintain proper documentation (equipment, time, trips, weight).
• Clean and wash truck as necessary.
• Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Comply with all DOT safety rules, company policies, and local, state, and federal laws.
• All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) daily.
• Sit and drive for up to 10 hours, and climb in and out of the truck cab throughout the shift.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.

• Work nights, weekends, holidays, and long shifts.
