Penske Logistics in Knoxville, TN is seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers for full-time home daily routes. Earn an average $72,852 per year with additional incentives up to $10,400 annually on a dedicated route.

You’ll deliver parts to automotive dealerships, unload with pallet jacks, and use a scanner for accuracy. You'll drive late-model Penske trucks with safety features and benefit from a comprehensive package including health coverage, retirement plans, paid vacation from day one, and driver

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and domiciled in the U.S.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required
• English language proficiency per federal requirement

Responsabilités

• Unload trailer using pallet jacks, hand trucks, rolling cages
• Use scanner to verify products as unloaded and delivered
• Manage routes with 4 stops and 1 transfer per route

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• 4 stops and 1 transfer per route

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Third shift dispatch

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

• The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
