Penske is hiring full-time Class A CDL truck drivers for nationwide routes out of Memphis, TN. The position offers average annual earnings around $110,000 with backhaul-heavy schedules that return drivers home to their domicile.

Drivers operate late-model Penske trucks, with cross-state backhauls and 8–10 day cycles. Comprehensive benefits and driver referral programs are included to support steady, long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer violations/accidents.

Responsibilities

• Complete live load and live unload deliveries.
• Manage 5–6 stops per week while maintaining route efficiency.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

Average $110,000 annually

Consistent, high-mileage backhaul routes

True OTR position covering 48 states

Drivers typically out 8 to 10 days per trip with layovers required

Routes designed to return drivers to their home domicile

Driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral

You will drive:

• Sleeper cab tractors with 53' van trailers
• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Deliver garage doors & related components to customer locations
• Pick up and deliver backhaul freight across multiple states
• Complete live load and live unload deliveries
• Manage 5 to 6 stops per week while maintaining route efficiency

Schedule:

• Work approximately 8 to 10 days per cycle
• Dispatch window typically between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Dispatch may occur Sunday, Monday, or midweek based on business needs
• Approximately 65 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
