Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Home Daily Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Kings Mountain, NC. You will perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships, unload with pallet jacks, and use scanners.

You’ll drive late model Penske trucks with safety features, earning about $88,000 annually with incentives. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 57 hours weekly, home daily, with comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• DOT medical card required (non-excepted interstate).
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• English language proficiency per federal requirements.
• Willingness to work a Monday–Friday schedule and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailer using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Use scanner to log products as unloaded and delivered.
• Complete 7 stops per route.

• Average $88000 annually
• Additional performance incentives available, up to $10400 annually
• Monday through Friday
• Home daily

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• 7 stops per route

Schedule:

• Dispatch time is 10PM
• 5 day schedule - Monday to Friday
• Average 57 hours per week
• Home daily

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
