Job summary

Penske is seeking CDL Class A truck drivers for home-daily routes. Earn average annual pay around $100,000 with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and additional safety incentives up to $2,500. Late-model Penske leased trucks and in-cab cameras support safe, reliable deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required; domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• DOT medical card required (non-excepted interstate).
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with ≤2 moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• This role is safety-sensitive per DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailer using electric or manual pallet jacks.
• Approximately 20 stops per week.
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using electric and manual pallet jacks
• 20 stops per week
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Schedule:

• Tuesday through Saturday, 3 AM to 9 AM dispatch
• Home daily

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
