Penske Logistics is hiring immediate opportunities for full-time Class A CDL truck drivers. You will operate late-model Penske trucks on various accounts, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. Expect a weekly 60-hour schedule, daily home time, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role requires valid CDL A, DOT medical card, and a strong safety record. You’ll be evaluated on inspections, on-time performance, and adherence to all regulations while building relationships

Responsibilities

Job description

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $95600 annually
• Weekly minimum guarantee of $1687.50
• $5000 sign-on bonus
• Home daily
• Floater position with a variety of routes and assignments
• No-touch freight / drop & hook position
• Additional safety and performance incentives available, up to $6600 annually
• Boot allowance available

What you will do:

• Work at various dedicated accounts and shifts as needed
• Support a variety of routes and assignments based on business needs
• Perform drop & hook deliveries
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections of tractors and equipment
• Escalate equipment repair needs in a timely manner
• Maintain positive relationships with the customer and dispatch

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM
• Average 60 hours per week
• Miles, stops, and drop & hooks vary depending on route

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
