Job summary

Penske is hiring full-time Class A CDL truck drivers to work home daily from the Houston area. You will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts to automotive dealerships, using scanners and pallet jacks, and operate late-model Penske trucks with safety features.

Qualified candidates have a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, clean DMV record, and proficient English. Penske offers comprehensive benefits and a strong retirement program with weekly pay and

• Valid Class A CDL and domiciled in the U.S. with a state license.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) current or able to obtain.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.
• Pass background check and drug screening as part of Penske process.

• Additional performance incentives available, up to $10400 annually

What you will do:

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
