Job description

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our Maryland Heights, MO Location. Candidates can have either a CDL Class A or CDL Class B License with Air Brake Endorsement.

**Laddervator or Knuckleboom experience desired.**

**Ability to drive manual transmission desired.**

Day shift with store hours from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, eligible for overtime.

Opportunity for overtime on Saturdays on an as-needed basis.

Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to job sites, physically unloading materials per customer requests, receiving materials at the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

Minimum requirements:

• 1 year CDL Class B delivery driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.

Qualifications:

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A license.

• Laddervator and Knuckleboom operating experience desired.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Heavy lifting experience.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. continually; some tasks may require lifting over 100 lbs.
• Deliveries include unloading shingles on residential homes.
• Loading trucks with scheduled materials, adhering to DOT weight and securing regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at the warehouse.
• Moving materials from receiving to designated areas.
